Cat of the Week: Munchkin

The munchkin is a cat from a genetic mutation. They have extra-short legs. It does not hurt the cat in any way and is completely natural. The are a very friendly cat and are sometimes called ferret-cats. It is a new breed, and a captive breed program only started in the 1990's, though short legged cats had been seen before. One thing is for sure, those legs are sure cute!!

Kim and Sheego

I have two cats named Kim and Sheego. They are sister that we got from the local animal shelter. They are both black and white and when we first got them they were almost identical. Kim just had a bit longer hair. Now Sheego is fat and Kim's hair is MUCH longer. I love them both more then any thing in the world.

Cats

  Cats have inspired people for many centuries. As either gods or pets we have always held them in our hearts as special. They have always held a certain mystery about them, and whether tiger or American Shorthair seem to remain wild.
